Writing story set in the 18th century. Trying so damn hard to be accurate, but did not anticipate use of historical detail. Stubborn- will not alter any part of the story. Inaccurate, therefore.

TAKING ARTISTIC LIBERTIES

YOLO

… Did I really just use that phrase in this context? It’s sad because I’m more afraid of being kicked out of the “writer club” than I am of what I have become by using that acronym.

TEXTBOOKS FOR SALE - University/College

I did university all over the place. I rejected two Bachelors in favour of a Diploma, because it was better aligned with my interests. That was, until I researched it some more and discovered the Diploma was relatively useless unless you had already been in the industry for ten years. I dropped out before I dedicated myself to a course that would give me nothing in return (or maybe it would have… I was very panicked and confused after finishing school; I may have counted my chickens before they hatched). The real problem was, I had already purchased my textbooks for the first semester… and if you know university, you know that this put me $500 out of pocket. I was able to sell a couple, but I’ve still got some hanging around. They’ve been sitting in my cupboard, doing nothing for a year now (I forgot all about them for most of that year, too preoccupied with work), and now that I recall them… I am desperate to do away with them.

So, on an obscure hope that someone might search for these textbooks on tumblr (who knows?), I thought I’d advertise here.

I have:

Please note that I am in Australia- while I don’t mind sending overseas, I feel, economically, these textbooks would best be suited for postage within Australia (I say this for the buyer’s benefit only- I don’t get any prize for keeping postage costs down).

These textbooks were bought for a course in Human Services, but the communication books, I’m sure, are applicable to a great variety of uni courses.
